It means hello/welcome/a whole lot of other things in Maori (which if you didn't know are the orang asli of Aotearoa) lol

So anyways, as the title suggest, I had this pang of nostalgia as I:

1. Looked through some old Facebook pictures with all of you (well not ALL) college mates in it.

2. Heard the song "Battle Without Honour or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei" which if you didn't know is the song that plays when you load CS back in JS (of which I frequented quite a bit back in college lol)

3. Stumbled across one of my old post in my blog that mentioned my take on college life after my friend asked me who I had as lecturers (and I actually forgot some of their names lol)

4. Err.. no other reason actually. Oh right! Because I miss you guys! (cheh...)

So yeah~ Here I am trying (in vain I'm sure lol) to perhaps breathe in some life into this decomposing thing once called our class blog haha...

I'd like to think we had a good run back in college :)

I mean... it literally was the most chilled-out time I've spent in my life... I think.

Perhaps primary and secondary school was just as chilled-out... not too sure... but college was certainly the most fun :D

Yeah...

I remember the times when...

- Ms Chan ALWAYS let us off early lol

- Mr Hari never failing to make us laugh during Physics class (unfortunately this applies a lot less to those who didn't take Physics)

- CC-ing lol I still remember my fascination for the weapon we call AK-47 and how it was the perfect weapon for me haha...

- The rushed lunches we had in AsiaCafe (chicken rice FTW)~

- Ms Fiona's life stories during our Thinking Skills class lol

- The totally awesome Bio teacher Ms Param :)

- The race to get Maths homework done before the end of the day (of which we usually tried to finish during LAN classes haha)

- LAN classes! Basically 3 hours a week alotted for us to catch up on homework/catch a few winks ^^

- Ms Lourds getting confused as Janice asked the most confounding questions (particularly the stupidly structured gene question regarding Mendelian inheritance with that dog lol)

- And of course the various trips I've had with some of you :)

There's more of course...

But those are the ones I can just pluck out the top of my head right now...

I guess I'll stop here and see if anyone actually responds to this in say.. 1 months time lol

Due to ultimate boredoomness in office, decided to CPR this blog abit.

Nott's game gathering was...UNsuccessful, lol. only me, Fz, May Ann, Ham, Jason manage to met up, oh well, lets pray December ultimate gathering will be successful, COZ i don't think I can finish the huge turkey alone. Plus i have some interesting frens to intro. So UK ppl, please come

My Life so far...wasn't really happening, have been doing the same task everyday till i can tell u in my dream. But i can say the placement so far has been a very good experience!!!

Anyway for those that don't know what's going on, i am currently on my 3rd year of Biotechnology (Enterprise) course in University of Manchester. And because my course is a sandwich course ( not the bread sandwich/ nor did i learn how to make sandwiches), my 3rd year, which is NOW, is a 13 months industry placement at Eli Lilly Speke Operation at SPeke, Liverpool. So i am basically staying at Liverpool for a year at the moment and yes, i will not be going back m'sia till after graduate :( My project will be the development of Capreomycin, an antibiotic used to treat Multi-resistance Tuberculosis (TB).

Hmm...so thats basically wat am i doing at the moment. How bout u guys? If u guys happen to revisit this deserted blog and is free please do update about what's happening OK?

Now...The purpose of this post...

TO ALL THE PM3'ians in UK...

as u guys all know, nottingham games will be held in 31st October (haloween) at Nottingham University. It is one of the most important occasion for M'sian in UK as most M'sia Society would sent representatives to compete in this tournament and M'sian from all over UK will gather around, which give us great chance to catch up with friends that are studying in different unis in UK, and of course we will be able to check out hot M'sian chicks and ducks, well, and maybe chucks (chic+duc...u will get what I mean, wanted to put D+icks, but seems bit 21sx)

Ok so...as far as I know, May Ann, Grace, Johnathan and Akaash has almost comfirm to be there, Priya will most likly be there as well, and together with Faiz, Huwai Ern and Kai Yin from Notts. And ME, we will have quite a few people. Am trying to pursue Janice and Chin Ung to come as well. So ya, we are planning to have a mini gathering at around 3pm at somewhere in nottingham, most likly will be at the M'sian food fares if people are not convinient getting out of the Unis.

So PEOPLE, please inform any other PM3-ians if I happen to forget any of them, and also for those that are coming, u are more than welcome to bring some of your friends to join the fun and showed them our Pm3 culture (got ar?)

This is what you need to do :)

I'm assuming you guys know how to login to the account already :P

At the Dashboard, select Layout~

Then scroll to Add Gadget and left click~

A new window should pop-up with a list of options... go down to Poll and left click on it.

Another new window will pop-up... there'll be come empty spaces there, fill in the blanks! (try setting your own date.. I tried it with the default date they gave and for some reason it didn't work lol) Click Save when you're done :)

Now.. the Poll will appear as shown, if you want to reposition it... Left click and drag... and drop at the position you think is most suitable (a few suggestions are shown below)~ (the position they'll use will turn white)

And now you know how to create a poll :)

Oh.. do remember to Save (Blogger doesn't always do it for you) and then View Blog to check how it turned out ^^

Here's a few instructions for those of us who don't blog :)

First... click on the Sign In link at the top right corner of our blog~

Then.. enter our username and password... if you don't have it.. ask for it from somebody :) Sign in~

You should now be at the Dashboard... there's an option called 'New Post' click on it~

Next up is the blog page... there's a place called 'Title' (enter the title here...)

There's two modes (1)... 'Compose' and 'Edit HTML'... 'Edit HTML' is less problematic in my experience... but its also a bit more difficult to use... (use this only to move pictures around)... So make sure you select 'Compose' (under compose mode.. its also easier to change size and colour of fonts and what not...)

Then there's the big empty space in the middle for you to type your post (2) :)

And.. when you're done... click on 'Publish Post' (3)~

To add images... click on the button called 'Add Pictures'~

A window will pop-up... choose 'Choose Files'~

A new window will then pop-up again... Go find the file... and choose it... then press 'Open'...

If you want to add more files... select 'Add another picture' a new link should pop-up underneath the previous picture... rinse and repeat~

Hopefully this helps! :)

The previous post being about our supposed 'Reunion'? By Faiz right?

Well... I don't need to tell you guys that didn't really work out XD

Can't really call it much of a reunion since less than 1/3 of the class turned up =.=" (did we even reach 1/4? XD) I thought the attendance could reach 50%... Well guess we're all wrong some time in our life~

Anyways...

Like I was saying...

It's been a long time :)

And frankly... I don't know if any of you regularly check this site anymore XD

It's a shame to admit it... but I don't check this blog daily =.="

Wonder how everyone is doing?

I would ask everyone to leave a comment on your current status... but experience tells me (there were QUITE a few post with that intent clearly expressed... yet I don't recall getting much of a response LOL) that probably won't work out either...

Urm...

Just a small update on my part~

But you guys probably visit MY blog more often than you do THIS blog... not that I blame you XD

ICA (In Course Assessement) which is 12.5% of my current semester grade is coming up in less than 2 weeks (Yen Xi, Ee Laine, Daphne... I hope you guys are prepared :D)... kind of stressing me out...

Especially seeing all these nerds in IMU hitting the libraries and MMS (actually stands for Medical Museum Session... but it's used to refer to the Medical Museum itself)...

Well... what do you expect from a bunch of medical students?

There's so much to learn.. and so little time to do it~

Can't really believe I'm a 2nd year medical student already O.o

I've said I dreaded the extremely long 5 years course... (or 5.5 if I go Down Under)... but now it seems....

5 years isn't all that long a time...

At the END of it... I'm going to start practicing medicine O.o

Wow...

Scary!

But let's put that thought on hold and concentrate on surviving medical school first ^^

Faiz will be leaving for UK soon (if Petronas manages to settle all that dust)...

Janice is leaving for UK again next week!

Joshur will be leaving in September...

I don't know about Grace, Jonathan and Chin Ung (did I leave anyone out)?

The Indians (well... not exactly LOL) are heading back sometime in August yes?

I think I recall Aaron asking me to organise a reunion for you guys...

Well.. sorry but I think I'll have to pass on taking up that responsibility :)

Not because I'm busy or anything...

But I'm a little tired of planning things for the moment :)

For those who don't know...

Today is the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympics!

Seems there's a lot of hype in the matter :D

Heck.. even I'm a little excited to watch it :)

The fireworks display promises to be one helluva spectacle (who invented the fireworks? XD)

And the cultural performances sound promising :)

It starts at 8pm by the way! Malaysian time :)

Rescheduled 'reunion'

Venue: Sunway Pyramid or One Utama (I highly recommand not to go to Mid Valley because of the jam, and i am kinda 'sick' of the place)

Eat: most probably dinner. There are quite a number of choices in Pyramid, where as in One Utama, there are places like Sri Melaka, Restaurant Peranakan *something* and one more place i forgotten its name.

As far as i know, if the date is set as above, the only persons that are confirmed unable to attend is Daphne and Akaash, both are abroad during that period.

Hey people! As promised, I shall post something short here, now that I have time in my hands :)
Looks like all we PM3-ians are scattered around the world, huh? In umph, 3 different continents, across many time zones. I'm anticipating the reunion already, I'm sure we will have so much to share, experiences culminated from living in different cultures the past year.

Sometimes, I still can't believe it has been almost a year since we use to roam Taylor's College's corridors, walking from class to class, fiddling around in the lab, cramming for A levels, standing outside the guardhouse making up our minds on where to have lunch. How time does fly, for most of us, we're done with first year uni , gasp!

What's most important is that no matter how far we are, how busy we are with life, we must stay in contact and meet up every once in a while just to catch up. So, to all of you making it for the reunion, see you!! :)))

Sorry i've been ''MIA" for a very long time.. But don worry.. i din forget all of you!!

Jz to update incase some might be wondering.. I'm still in Taylors doing Mechanical Engineering. (don get shocked ok..) Its now my 2nd Sem and i'm the only Chinese girl in my ME class... (there's another malay girl in my class, which makes a total of 2 female Mechanical students..) hahaha... no worries.. at least i don hav to wake up every morning thinking hard on what to wear or what trend to keep up, since the boys in class are much more interested in the Business School girls...!!! Don think they even consider me a girl!!!

So for THEIR sake... I think Malaysian food would be more appropriate :) (not that I dislike Malaysian food lar)

Suggestions people!

Other than Asia Cafe... the only other place I can think of right now is Pappa Rich (which is found in Sunway Pyramid).. they serve Malaysian styled food... haven't personally dined there before but the reviews from my peers are pretty convincing :) We could do other things there too!

So let me know alright? Soon I hope! Because I've got a few things to settle as well :)

Ok... here's the deal.. (gosh I hope people still visit this blog LOL)...

0601PM3 is going to have a Reunion in case you haven't heard! :)

It will most likely be within the first 2 weeks of June (which is the time the UK PM3ians will be back...) and obviously due to the majority of us being in the KL area... will be held in a venue somewhere in KL (haven't decided on a place yet)...

So if you CAN attend... PLEASE do leave a comment here alright! (this didn't quite work with the post in my blog for some reason...)

And even for those who CAN'T attend.. for whatever reason... leave a comment here as well! It's always nice to hear from you guys :) And if that reason is something trivial... we might be able to accomadate the venue/time or something for you to attend (of course... this must not compromise any other's interest in the matter :P)

Will try to update you guys on the matter :D

Maybe put a poll or something to see what you guys prefer more haha...

Yin Fei has already left for Australia...

Murresh and Jae Ric will be joining us IMU-ians in IMU (as Medical students no less :P) this coming Monday...

Aaron and Ley Ni are back (if I'm not mistaken... been quite a while already though LOL)

Err... unfortunately.. I think that's about all I know =.="

Oh yeah... Faiz will be leaving this year for Nottingham (UK) if all goes well :)

And Jia Wen has shifted house XD

Been ages since i posted something & also im also guilty of not checking the blog.....Anyway, January is not over yet , so Happy 2008 to everyone :-)!!!

Oh yeah, and congrats to "Pri & Jae ric " (strange coincidence) on their new blogs..... Hehehe, im not yet a blogger , just cant sit long enough to keep a blog running.....

I just got back from Penang AGAIN , finally back to civilisation in Klang (civilisation=internet excess)....

So, how come no mention in the blog bout the AC Pm3 reunion thingy....Sorry i couldn come, still was in Penang then.... Hw was it ???? Loads of Pm3-ians come????

Everyone is everywhere right now, burning the midnight oil even through CNY (Faiz, josh....)....... Beleive it or not, since post A-levels , im am STILL , yes thts right, STILL on Holidays!!!!...

i actually think i cant remember what its like to do work anymore, im so screwed once i join uni.... Neway, all of u can be releived that my holidays wont last long anymore, i start on Feb 18 ..... Fingers crossed..... i feel kinda nervous, standard one all over again, making new friends and all, haiiii......

So, in the moment of talking "friends", just want you'll to know i may not have spoken much to all of u during class or wat, but it was a pleasure knwing u guys & gals ....whatever said (and not said ) and done ( and not done), Pm3 was a class one of its kind.....

A very Happy New Year to...

All you PM3ians who still visit this blog :)

I thank you for the support you've shown us by visiting our class blog and may the year ahead be a great one for you :)

Year 2007 was full of changes for me...I'm sure most of us would feel the same...

In the earlier months of 2007....

We realised A2 was just down the road...of course we got a little panicky :)

But we managed to have our fun despite the looming danger ;)

And then...months drew near to trials...and most of us probably suffered a disheartening blow then...

But we hardened our resolve...and fought the demonic creature that was A2 finals...

I believe most of us emerged triumphant :) But I'm sure there were casualties of war...but fear not...where there's a will...there's a way :)

In between A2 and results...

There was of course the break in between....

We had our Graduation Ball! Everyone looking good for everyone to see`

Some of us (May Ann and Yin Fei) had to go for National Service (hell when you're there...can get enough of it when you're out right?)

Some of us worked part time~ (some not getting any pay LOL)

Some went back to their hometowns :)

Some went on holidays...

Some did a combination of...perhaps just about everything above :)

And then....

After the long (but not long enough I think :P) break...

Results were out...and before you knew it...most of us would have been in uni already....

Some flew over the mountain over the sea~

Some stayed and did it local ;)

Some...couldn't decide yet what to do...

And then....the end of this year came...

Many of us had our exams....uni exams are stressful...MUCH more so than A2 XD It actually got ME studying 3 weeks before the exam ZOMG

And of course...there was Xmas and New Year itself :)

I hope everyone had a blast at the New Year's celebration :D

KLCC rained (as you would find in my post) but it was nice nonetheless :)

And now...here we are...looking at the new year with new hopes and dreams (and resolutions that probably wouldn't come true....XD)

2007 was one hell of a year :) A lot of things happened (look at the amount of posts in my blog! XD) And...I hope 2008 will be more eventful ;) Although...I wish there will be more ups and less downs ^^

Again...to all you readers....

Since I'm in my jolly mood now, I shall post something.

Firstly, some of us are planning to have 2 outings. One for Xmas and the other to usher in the New Year!

No official plans have been made yet but we wanna check out the Xmas deco in 1U.

So...its 24th or 25th in 1U! but no plans for new year yet.

Wanna have like a potluck party somewhere? It would be great to just sit, talk and chill...

Although I must say that I can't expect a post from everyone since some of us don't know the necessary details to sign in but... but...

What happened to the chatbox? We should at least keep it alive, shouldn't we? A "Hi" or "How's everyone/so-and-so doing?" will at least keep the ball rolling, I believe... even for an inch, I'll be glad :)

Well, don't mind me, I got nothing to do that's all. Even Yin Fei got her 'undang' test to study for...

By the way, before I end, blessed birthday to all December babies and blessed Christmas... whereever you are :)

Anyways...

It's been awhile since I (or anyone for that matter) posted anything in this blog....

So here I am again :)

How is everyone doing?

Me? I'm fine...Summative 1 is coming up (50 MCQ questions...sounds easy enough?) which will be testing us on about 100+ hours worth of lectures...and is the only exam we'll be required to take for Semester 1 :)

Frankly...I'm scared shitless by the exam XD And that really rarely happens to me :) Not because I'm smart or anything...but because the exam is going to be really tough...and to make matters worse...I have to do well in it....because otherwise...it might be a little difficult getting in to the university of my choice :)

Anyways....

I've been thinking (and zoning back to the past) quite a bit recently....

We PM3ians should have a get together sometime soon (after our exams of course...) it's been so long since we last met :) And for those out of the country...do tell us when you'll be heading back to Bolehland (as my friend put it)

We all long for simpler times....but the fact remains...you can only step forward...not back :) So stop dreaming ^^

Our A-Levels cert is out already and ready to be collected from the office in Taylor's :D

Daphne, Ee Laine and I went to collect it today...and actually had a short chat with Ms Mary Ng (if you don't know who she is...I've got nothing to say....) She's a really nice person :)

Oh....those who went to MMMC for Medicine (do they offer any other course? XD)....how did you guys get in? Because Ms Mary Ng said A-Levels students won't be able to make the previous/current intake due to the fact that you need your actual results first before you can apply...and the deadline of application was either 31st of July or 1st of August (to jog you memory...we got our results only on August 9th) Really curious to know...

One more thing...Ms Mary Ng wanted to know what course we were doing...and the 3 of us kind of gave the information on the behalf of some of you (the ones we weren't 100% sure of...we didn't give lar :P) Hope you guys don't mind! :)

Going back to Taylor's sure brings a flood of memory with it :) All those times eh? You know...we all should really ALL go back to Taylor's one day (as a whole if possible..) and go visit our lecturers....

Hope everyone is doing OK :) Try to bring a bit more life to this blog alright? ;) I don't want to be posting 50% or more of the posts here XD

A first-grade teacher, Ms Anna (Age 22 ) was having trouble with oneof her students.
The teacher asked the boy, 'what is your problem?'
The boy answered, 'I'm too smart for the first-grade. My sister is inthe third-grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be inthe third-grade too!'

Ms Anna had enough. She took the boy to the principal's office. While the boy waited at the reception of the office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was.

The principal told Ms Anna he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and behave. The boy was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and heagreed to take the test.

Principal: 'What is 3 x 3?'
Boy: '9'.
Principal: 'What is 6 x 6?'
Boy: '36'.

So it went with every question the principal thought a third-gradeshould know. The principal looks at Ms Anna and tells her, 'I thinkBoy can go to the third-grade.

'Ms Anna says to the principal, 'I have some of my own questions, can Iask him?'

The principal and Boy both agree.

Ms Anna asks, 'What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?
Boy: after a moment 'Legs.'

Ms Anna: 'What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?'
Boy: 'Pockets.'

How is everyone of late?

The Raya break will be coming to an end (if it hasn't already for some of you XD)...I hope everyone had a good time celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri....the only thing festive I did during the break was send Faiz SMS greetings LOLX

Hmm....

I'm sure most of you have got your future all paved already? More than half are probably already slugging it out in Uni.....the other who hasn't are probably aiming for the February intake (Australia? :D) Hope you gus have your application work all done ^^

Time seems to fly...seems like yesterday (ok..maybe I'm exaggerating a little here...) that we were still back in Taylor's....A2 exams nearing....most (well...I was..) of us goofing off...but everyone panicking because doom seems to hang in the air as the days go by....ahh...good times :)

Well..those aren't exactly the good times XD But times when...

We ate at AC (gosh I hate this place...)

We went CC-ing at JS (CS rocks!)

We played around in the lab (I still remember Ms Param mentioning.."There shall be no horse play in the lab" Sorry Ms Param!)

We would plan birthday surprises for...well..just about everyone (I'm pretty sure we missed out a few...)

The birthday surprise didn't bear much surprise anymore...

We could actually study for the exam a little over a month before it starts and still score As (don't put up your hopes for this in Uni....one word...'consistency')

There were rumours going around...and boy did we like to tease people about it :)

Life was a lot simpler...

We had an impossible amount of Math homework to do...

We probably didn't bother with any other subject's homework...other than Math...

We slept in class...

Our beautiful dream is interrupted by Ms Param...

Mr Hari talks about all his crazy (but possible in a very remote sense) ideas...

Ms Lourds would look all so disappointed by our uncompleted homework (saddening I tell you..)

Ms Chan would whip out her slides and start presenting them on the OHP...and when she ALWAYS let's us go early :D

Ms Fiona would tell us about her life's story (I am aware that not everyone enjoyed this...)

Well....just when we were....0601PM3 in college...being the most famous class..for all the wrong reasons (frankly a lot of the accusations were false...so who cares :P) And when life....was filled with fun :)

There are more reasons of course...but some of them are pretty personal to me...

Yeah...I miss being back in college :)

Well...life goes on as I have learnt (rather painfully I might add...) so chins up as we walk towards the unknown lands that people call....the future :)

Happy Birthday Ee Laine!!!

Seems you have joined the group experiencing their final days of teenager huh? Enjoy while it last. Enjoy your youth before you grow really really old =P. Seems like you are busy turning into a ‘nerd’ (according to you), making new friends, drooling over cute guys, meeting noisy ducks etc. Whatever it is, never forget the PM3 faithful, no matter where we are, how far we are, even on the other corner of the world!

I guess ducks will be ducks =P, like to make loud noises a lot! To make the environment more ‘happening’, sort to speak. Can’t think what would happen to PM3 without your loud mouth =P. You sure have made the class lively (at least during my 6 month in tailors), daripada mengacau orang lain seperti Xie Jing dan dijadi bahan bulian Akaash Singh Gill. Count to think of it, I think Akaash labelling you as ‘Miss kepohchi’ was really a good move =P/ Suits you well.

Happy birthday again, Ee Laine! All the best in your studies.

As you can see the concept of the posters are oscar night based.....so thats the concept we're doing this year la...

Basically what u can look forward to is 8course dinner, guest performances , awards,lucky draw.....and its a CHARITY thingy, hehehe, so be generous and come la....the money is for a new REd Crescent building plus vehicles (ambulances and all....)

For your info, i have to make RM100,000 from this event......so, hehehe, would really appreciate the support from u guys....just dress up n come.....plus by that time, we have loads of catching up to do (6 months post A-levels)....

oh n faiz, just in case....no worries bout Halal all...its a totally Malaysian function...hehe...

Future doctors, or should i say future gynae, here's one article i got from July 2007 Reader's Digest titled 'DELAY CUTTING THE CORD' under the 'Medical Update' section.

"Newborns have a better blood count if the umbilical cord isn't cut for at least two minutes after birth, suggests a new review published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. After examining 15 trials of early and late cord cutting, Dr. Eileen Hutton of McMaster University, Ontario, concluded that a delay is beneficial. "Advantages include improved blood count and iron status, and a reduced risk of anaemia," she says. "These benefits last three to six months into infancy."

"Some practitioners clamp the cord immediately [just] because they have learnt to do it that way," says Hutton. "But there is enough evidence to recommend a delay of at least two minutes."

I've already posted a farewell post in my blog...but another wouldn't hurt right? Sides I'm pretty sure not everyone here reads my blog LOL

Ley Ni and Aaron will be leaving the comforts of home tonight and head to India :) Hope you guys can take spicy food ^^ And have a more than decent immune system in you gastrointestinal system :D Remember to take some diarrhea medication over....and keep a fair stock of 100Plus.... :D

Joshur, Janice and Jonathan (3Js wei...) will be leaving for Manchester soon ^^ Josh and Jans on the 11th and Jon...I think it's the 12th..correct me if I'm wrong :)

Who else is leaving soon? Do leave a message hear yeah? :)

To all those who are doing Medicine....I'm sure you'll find medical students abit...overstudious...I have people studying everyday since Day 1...till late late late at night...and some even waking up earlier to do some reading... :) I personally don't like it...but I think it will be necessary....fun time is over people :P Go study!!! XD

To those doing/about to do bio related course.....Bio will come in handy :) Sure A-Levels Bio isn't as in depth as STPM...but it's till pretty good...you won't know a lot of terms..but you probably won't stare blankly at your lecturer's power point presentation either ;) So far I haven't done much of staring anyways :P

To those about to do/doing non-bio related course....why the hell did you choose a PM class? But glad you did anyways :) Or else we wouldn't have known you ^^ All the best no matter what you are pursuing! Anyways...it's good to have someone doing something other than Medicine, Pharmacy or Biotechnology.....but we'll have less things to talk about ^^ Who else is doing something not bio related?

I lazy to type out all the names again..I've dedicated some lines to those that I'm aware of the course that you are about to/are taking in my blog~

I hope we keep this blog alive :) It's an important tool of communication for us PM3ians don't you think? :)

First day at taylors, joining PM3, electing a class rep (because of all the noise he made), getting through LAN, screwing our brains in thinking skills, staying awake ( or at least trying to) during chem....haii, thats all in the past now....the a-level chapter in our lives is officially and re-officially over....BUT pm3 izzint over!!!! at least for some of us....for the others, come on la, checking out the blog wont take tooooo much of ur time ( n dun just check la, a hi would tell us u still exist)

hehehe, now tht the pep talk is over....this post is about "post " a-levels..... there are 29 ppl ( n one extra ex-pm3ian) of us...... so, just to catch up in everyones lives, tell us what ur currently doing and where u are (or planning to ) study la.... every one knows bits and pieces of something......after all, if u tell us, where and when ur leaving then only can plan a farewell party wat....

so, its easy...all u have to do is edit this post and just add ur name and wat u going to do /doing...... if u dun wanna edit the post, posting a comment would be fine too.....

to start it of :

1. supriya -hehehe, currently lazing at home n doin some pbsm stuff ...im gonna join monash malaysia in february to do medicine....

2. Qi Hong~ - ola everyone! currently pursuing medicine from IMU with ee laine, daphne and yen xi....huhu medicine is pretty hectic ^^ alot of tings 2 rmbr...and mus study one woh...damn..y did i choose dis course...like charlie said (he's a fren i made in imu):"Huh? You don't like studying why did you take MEDICINE??" :D take care~

3. Ee Laine - i'm in IMU! to those who are undecided on where to go, come to IMU! haha. it's worth paying the sem 1 fees just for orientation. i'm serious! haha actually i'm not, but orientation's alot of fun! i miss college life very very very much. it's sad in imu, we have nowhere else to eat other than their cafeteria, which serves the same food everyday =( while studying at taylors i know i've once or twice said that i'm bored of the food in ac, but if ac ever comes here, i will NEVER say that. EVER! anyway, fellow pm3-ians, i miss u guys, keep in touch =)

4. Yin Fei - Just got back from NS and mushrooms are already starting to grow on me. My typical day - wake up late, have lunch, go online, watch tv, have dinner, online and sleep, with SMSes and junk food in between :p Kind of waiting for nothing actually. Probably will attend driving ceramah next week.. *yawns*.. and then look around for courses and universities to apply to. That's in case I don't get to do dentistry in Aussie. Which I'm quite certain I wont. zzz.. Basically, that's all. Updates are all in my blog so if you guys wanna drop by, give me your e-mail and I'll send you and invitation. Till then :)

5.Priya-Hey peeps!well most of u might know tht i'm at HELP uni doing LAW.I'm already in my second week and guess wat?Ive got tonnes of assignments to do(a 800 words essay to b submmited this coming tues,a small presentation and some notes to find for tutorial.)...not sumthin i was lookin forward to,knew it was coming but not so soon!!Well my lecturers are all fun ppl,they are whacky but can b serious at times too if u r talkin wen their teaching...finding food over at tht place is another headache,since my classes are held at a diff building and not at the main campus..therefore ive to take a bus(which is free!)all the way to main campus as food is better there....but of course being at HELP there is lots of place to hang out at eg.jln telawi,mid valley,one utama..so its not too bad..i do travel by train occasionally or sumtimes i tumpang my fren...transportation sux!well guess thts all ive got to say...reading back,looks like ive complained more hahahaa..sorry folks!anywayz keep in touch pm3ians

.Cheers to all 0601PM3 in Taylor’s. Colourful it was indeed our time spent together. I went from pooling with YinFei and Priya to Fusballing with EeLaine. From acting as a cop in a play with Aakash, to being a LRT door with MayAnn. From Thinking Skills assignments with Grace to swimming with Jason. Surprising birthdays for Leyni, PeoyShiam and Goodbyes to Faiz. Pouring alginate beads down the basin with Jenabi to electrocuting QiHong’s Physics lab work.

Chinese New Year Gathering 07

Splashing water with Sam in chemistry lab and hitching HweeWen’s ride home. Discussing about Indian food with SuperPriya and PaandiPriya and ate lots of it with XieJing. From sitting next to Jaeric in class to Jonathan in the next. Teach HuwaiErn to maple and get taught by Daphne for math (I’m not slow Daph >.<). Got out dressed by Muresh at farewell party to getting formally dressed with the Fab 5 for prom.

KaiYin was Sam’s match & Yinfei was QiHongs. Belting out off-key with TzeShi & Yenzi and crooning to oldies with HuwaiErn ( ~rainy days & Mondays, always get me down~ aka Huwai’s Fav song). Seeing Janice act out as an Oscar winner got me laughing like mad then see our own pictures as MunShan edits them to perfection. Then there’s Priya (just Priya) SuPriya and PaandiPriya

Every time some major results are announced...there will always be people who will be sad, happy, content, disappointed, ecstatic, crushed, surprised, devastated...and various other forms of emotions...

It can't be helped...

Congratulations to those that have done well/better than they expected for the exam :) For all your effort you surely must have deserved it :)

And for those of you who didn't do as well as you expected...don't let this bring you down...life's journey is a long one indeed...harden your resolved and do better in the next stage of life :)

Like Aaron said in his blog...not all of us are born equal...but if you put enough effort in...I'm sure you can achieve what you have set out to do :)

Live life to the fullest and don't let anything or anyone bring you down...because as they say....Life is just too short!

Sorry this took so long Mun Shan....

Ok everyone :)

Mun Shan has come across a rather interesting idea :) My friends have actually done something similar for a friend of ours...so anyways...

Anyways, the book is from Pixart - pixart.com.my

For RM 50 - its a hard cover book that has 12 printed pages ( 24 printed sides ) .

Additional pages cost RM 1.50 each.

Book Size is 7.7 by 5.5 inches.

Other than that, shipping will be free of charge if we order 10 and above and also shipped to one place (and I think the best way is that I receive the books...and maybe you all collect it from my place or i'll mail it to them if they are too far but they have to pay for the postal fee which is less than 5 bucks lar)

I think 24 pages is sufficient already unless the whole class wants it and we need to include more photos.

But payment would be a problem since I dont have a credit card.

Car accident

Okay. I met with a car accident on my way back to M'cca fr Subang.

Date: 13 July 2007 (Friday)
Venue: Somewhere after the toll (probably bout a 10 minutes drive?)

I'm on a highway driving at bout 100 km/h and there's this single lane road linking to the highway that i was on. So happen one VIP passing thru and the escort/police stopped the car in front of me, a Waja and after seeing wat happened, i apply my emergency brake but i couldn't stop in time, so i banged the back of that car n the Waja that i drove was badly damaged. The repair costs RM 1476. Unfortunately, my dad still has to pay the other Waja owner RM300 coz we were in the wrong since we're fr the back. It's always the car at the back is wrong if u're driving in M'sia no matter wat happens!

I seriously think that it's not my fault (It wasn't my 1st time driving on a highway). It should be the VIP's fault for being so IMPORTANT dat they neglect other road users n stop us suddenly. We should practice the Japanese where the VIPs follow the rules n regulations as normal road users do.

After the accident, i was panic-stricken n squat down by the road side while my father negotiated the price. I juz couldn't stand straight. It's as if the feeling of going to b injected is befalling me. Some of u noe how i'm afraid of being injected or any sharp objects penetrating my skin, dat's another reason y i've no ear holes.

Anyway, it was a gd bt costly experience 4 me. There r certain acts dat i should've done 2 avoid it, i.e.

- overtake the car (I was on the left to the fastest lane. Will I get into a more dangerous situation if i've done dat? I dunno. I was engrossed to stop in time dat i neglected looking out for other alternatives. My dad was asleep n so is every1 else => no advice!)

- brake fully the moment i start braking (I didn't do so coz i thought the car will overturn, hence i only brake fully after 1 or 2 seconds i started braking. Too much movie i suppose? Lol.) I seriously have no cognizance that the car will not overturn if i'd brake fully until my dad told me, which he then continue driving back to M'cca.

I don't have the courage to drive again since then.

Juz kidding! I drove the following Monday. ;P

2 couple, gonna break edi. Then they took wrong turn on the interstates (pssst, if u take a wrong turn in the middle of the night, means u're in a horror movie.) then they got lost. So they stayed in a deserted motel. Suddenly, got ppl knocking and calling them. And got video on the tv that shows masked men killing girls and old fat immigrants. Then they realise that, the video, is being shot in the exact room they're in. That's when they tried to escape but are trapped inside their room. The crazy sadistic assholes are watching them and enjoying themselves. O_O who does that?

Why watch? It gets ur heart pumping and ur butt firm from excessive sitting and jumping motion -_-". Cuz i watched it and i'm still sane~ there's even a game bout it! Go try and spook urself^^ http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/vacancy/index.html folo the link and select games.

Starring Nicholas Tse, Shawn Yue, Jaycee Chan (Jackie's lame son) & Wu Jing.
It's about 3 cops taking down bad guys that are way more powerful then all of them combine. Even the bad girl kik all their asses. The bad guys are like pro robbers with martial arts skill. In one of their robberies, they accidentally exploded Nicholas's fiance. Jaycee is like the "good" cop that keeps crying. So they sorta wanna stand up for the law and get revenge at the same time. However, the bad guys are back after 6 months because they did not get a share from the 1st robbery. The police chief is also a bad guy. zzzz.. every one is involve apparently.

Why watch? If u like action packed chinese movies. Watch these guys jump from buildings, getting knocked down by a bus, swallows 3 bullets, get kicked in the head 20 times in a row and still walk away as if nothing happen.

Dun watch if.... u hate draggy story lines, when after one person dies, another one comes out, and another and another. Or watching Jaycee cry 3 times. Or u haven watch Transformers or Harry Potter.

Starring Skinny Oprah, Shrek's donkey, and Fat Oprah

It's a musical! So expect them to sing on and on. If u dun like this kind of music or theme. Don't bother picking it up at all.

Why watch? Get to watch J.Hud stomp all over Beyonce with better vocal and more air time. If u like Cats or Phantom of Opera. U are an idol fan, and u remember back in season3 how poorly America treated J.Hud and now, it's in their faces.

Don't watch if... J. who? Stop screaming girls!! Or u think donkey should just stay in Shrek!

I'm only now keen on watching Rush Hour 3. Can't wait~~

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning.I went downstairs for breakfasthoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!", andpossibly have a small present for me.As it turned out,she barely said good morning,let alone "Happy Birthday."I thought...Well, that's marriage for you,but the kids....They will remember.My kids came bounding down stairs tobreakfast and didn't say a word.

So when I left for the office,I felt pretty low and somewhatdespondent.As I walked into my office,my secretary Jane said,"Good Morning Boss,and by the way Happy Birthday! "It felt a little better that at leastsomeone had remembered.I worked until one o'clock,when Jane knocked on my doorand said, "You know,It's such a beautiful day outside,and it is your Birthday,what do you say we go out to lunch,just you and me."I said, "Thanks, Jane,that's the greatest thingI've heard all day.Let's go!"We went to lunch.But we didn't gowhere we normally would go.She chose instead a quiet bistrowith a private table.We had two martinis eachand I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

CamperStrike and CamperStrike2....good flash shooting games for those of you who has nothing better to do~

Electric Man 2 is a nice fighting game :) Can do Matrix stuff (slow motion movements...) and who doesn't like THAT ;)

ITS HERE....ITS FINALLY HEREEEE......hehehe, thats wat we would have probaby said as soon as we put our pens down at our final A2 paper.....well, mayb its just me but now all i can say is , "its STILL here ??????"....n da worst part, the minimum holiday i got is like 8 looooonnnggg months.........ouch!!!

hehehe, hols werent tht depressing so far la, as i make it out to be......but honestly, i agree with qi hong on 2 things

A) im BORED
B) i miss college too (and my lovely classmates too !)

right now, waking up at 6am and making my way to college doesnt sound so bad......hehehe, or to put it in better perspective, sitting in ms chan's chemistry class may not seem so bad after all .....or is it?????.....

holidays started perfectly though, with da "semi-formal" putrajaya trip, courtesy of Mun Shan & Co......and of course wat are girls without shopping, did loads of shopping these hols......

aaahhaaa, speaking of holiday activities , GUys, something u might wanna try not to do ( ESPECIALLY if ur with the girl u like)..... i went to see fantastic 4 in sp last week .....my friend had alreadi seen it, but was everwilling to go again......and there i was watching the movie next to him when , behold, i discover the reason for his over-affection for me.....remember the part where jessica alba powers are exchanged wit her bro n she suddenly falls naked.....hehehe, im sure u can see where i m goin wit this.....so anyway, there he was half-asleep and just as she falls naked, he gives a jolt, drops his phone n everythin he's holding and is actually gawking at the screen for a few precious moments of cuci-mata-ing........hehehe, moral of the story....guys will always be guys.............n just for the record, u couldnt see tht much could u ???

hmmm, so tht was about as exciting as my hols got.....waiting to go out sometime wit u guys one day though.......so many birthdays, no birthday party?????...mamak sessions are definitely inviting, but i live so far la (ok mayb not soooooo far, but a little far la)...

Movie review

I just watched transformers yesterday, and it was one heck of a show.

I know some would disagree with me that the show rocks, but it was worth every single minutes for 2 hours plus watching it. I went with a few of my friends, with some girls as well, and the girls was fascinated with the show. Getting those kinds of impressions by girls, especially this kinds of movie, really makes the movie like a 'must watch' show...

A movie with a mixture of action, humor in betweens action scenes XD, romance and much more. Although i expected a better way to end the movie XD

I give it 8.5/10

A short story - THE LOTTERY TICKET

At 56 years old, with his stooping shoulders and thin frame, Ah Lek cuts a very forlorn figure indeed. He had seen good and bad times, been to hell and back. In the past, at the pinnacle of his career, he used to hire the best caddies and play golf at Saujana Hills till the cows came home and drink the best Mc Clutcheon whiskey but when the market crashed in 1997, he lost everything, except his three wives and sixteen children. They stood by him, but secretly he knew there were prawns behind the stone.

Meet Mrs Lek Chun-Ted, a tall ravishing former Miss Malaysia Boleh 1977. She is Ah Lek's first wife. As the matriarch of the Lek family, she wielded authority and power. When her husband fell from riches to rags, she barely bat an eyelid. She saw it coming, economic crisis and all. She stowed all her jewellery - amethysts, jaspers, rubies and all, in a huge vault in Switzerland, all without the knowledge of Ah Lek, for she knew very well the importance of preparing an umbrella before it rains. She married Ah Lek not for his wealth at the time she knew him, but because of his character- naive and easily deceived. So, when he lost everything, she was his pillar of strength, together with their six children, Ah, Bah, Cik, Dek, Eek and Fuk. Pardon the names as Ah Lek and Chun-Ted had very little education and thus lack creativity in naming their chilldren. What Ah Lek did not know was, Chun-Ted had a scheming mind, and what she wanted from him was something worth more than the empire he once built, something that would guarantee herself and children a comfortable and lavish life as long as they lived.

Ah Lek's two other wives are not noteworthy. They were ex-office ladies he had brief affairs with, but was forced to marry them when their bellies gave him away as Ah Lek believed that a man should take responsibility for his actions. These two wives were foolish and lacked the calibre of Mrs. Lek Chun-Ted. After Ah Lek's downfall, they stood by Ah Lek only because they had no one left to turn to. Both were fruitful and each bore him five children, who like their mothers, had prawn brains. They spend the days idling away, either indulging in bohsia/bohjan daily in a popular shopping complex in their area, Two Utama or sniffing glue at the padang behind their now dilapidated bungalow.

Ah Lek had a special gift. No one knew except Chun-Ted and himself. It was a gift that could only be used once in a lifetime. Ah Lek inherited this special ability from a Bangladeshi sifu based in Jalan Imbi. For the uninitiated, Ah Lek used to haunt the prostitute dens there for his daily fix in his heyday. But, that's a different story altogether.

This gift was the gift to predict nombor ekor. Ah Lek refrained from abusing this gift, because his sifu made him say a special vow and chant some verses before bestowing the gift upon him. Being the kia-si fella that he is, Ah Lek has abided by this vow till today. According to his sifu, the gift can only be used in times of pure desperation, when all means have been exhausted. Chun-Ted had persuaded Ah Lek to use this gift when his business empire kaboom-ed, but he resisted saying that pure desperation = the only food left to feed his children were cucumbers and tap water. As all his children still could enjoy Ramloo burgers and drink iced tea at the mamaks, they were still far from being desperate.

But Chun-Ted could not wait, she longed for the days of glory when she used to flash her gems and drink English tea at Malliote KL with her fellow tai tais. So, she proceeded to devise an ingenious plan to trick Ah Lek into revealing those vital digits that would restore her the fame and luxury.

4/4/2004. The most auspicious date in the Chinese calendar, according to Chun-Ted's private fengshui consultant, Jooy Yep. The perfect date to implement her plan. Off she went as early as 7 am to Midget Hypermarket USJ to buy five kilos of Indonesian cucumbers ( the cheapest variety). Next she proceeded to fill all the bottles she could find in the house with pure, unalduterated air paip. She gathered the whole Lek clan in the dining area and with the boom of her 120 decibel voice,announced that breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next one week would be cucumbers and tap water. Ah Lek's eyes almost popped out in disbelief. Being the caring, doting father that he is, how could he bare to see his beloved offspring consume cucumbers and tap water. Chun-Ted stole a glance at her husband, she smiled, her plan was working. As all his children groaned and grumbled, Fuk the youngest and defiant son, arose from his stool and shouted, " This is not fair! I rather starve than eat cucumbers!' while the children of his two younger wives unanimously shrieked, 'can we make cucumber juice?'

Ah Lek rushed to his room, grabbed a bowl of water and sat on the floor, in a yoga-like posture, eyes closed in full concentration. Chun-Ted followed. Soon, four numbers faintly appeared in the form of bubbles on the surface of the water Chun-Ted could barely contain her excitement. This is it. The moment of truth. She scrambled for a piece of paper and wrote the numbers " 9994".

True enough when the lottery ticket was bought and the results announced, the numbers won the grand prize worth RM350 million. Chun-Ted was above cloud nine, Ah Lek happy that the cucumber eating spree would end. She carefully kept the ticket in her dressing drawer, waiting to collect the prize the next day. Without her knowledge, the dumbest of the two wives children, Ah Bok was snooping in her room one fine evening, looking for some loose cash to buy more glue. He and his kakis had finished up their monthly supply of Gam Cap Itik. They were now on a high and desperately needed cash. As he rummaged through the drawers, his eyes caught a glimpse of the lottery ticket. Being dumb and high, he mistook it for a money note. He grabbed it and rushed to the nearest sundry shop, owned by Mr. Arumugam, a retired ex-state footballer and his wife, Sri Devi. Mr Arumugam almost went into cardiac arrest when he saw the lottery ticket. He immediately summoned Devi and after giving Ah Bok his glue, rushed to the nearest Magnum office to redeem his windfall. Both husband and wife, packed their bags, shut down the sundry shop and migrated to the Swiss Alps where Mr. Arumugam can be seen daily skiing and enjoying Mc Clutcheon whiskey while Sri Devi, clad from head to toe with expensive designer clothing and adorned with Bvglari diamonds.

As for Ah Lek and household, cucumbers became a staple diet but Chun-Ted, when she heard of the lottery ticket missing, she screamed and screamed until the bungalow almost came crashing down.

So it seems our blog is losing steam...what happened? Our visit count is LESS now during the holidays than during our final exams! (I don't know how many times have I said this already....seriously...it doesn't make sense..) I don't think SO many people are on trips now right? I see so many PM3ians come online everyday :) Yet...this blog seems so dead....*sigh* Rather sad really..

Anyways...just thought I should post about something~

So how are the holidays treating everyone? Some of us would have many a grand plan to fill our almost 2 months of holidays (depending which intake/course/place you will be doing) Some would just be happy to have a trip and outing splashed in between the weeks and enjoy the relaxing holidays you have earned....

But some...oh...some...like me would be bored out of their mind because they don't get to go to college everyday anymore =.=" It's all a little ironic and complicated...when we HAVE to go to college everyday ...we'd feel tired, bored and fed up with college life...because at times...it really zaps the fun out of life...with piling assignments (lucky we didn't take SAM eh?), mountains of homework (Exercise 13.4 Question number 1 till 20 WTH), upcoming exams (don't we all remember how we have to rush through all the subjects...for me..a few days before the paper? XD) and just having to wake up early everyday =.="

Now? Well..we're pretty much free to do just about anything we want (with limits) and time doesn't really matter...in the sense we don't have to wake up or sleep at a certain time...we can wake up at 3pm and sleep at 5am~ I also lack things to do....it all seemed a lot easier and proper (weird word to use..but the only word I can think of right now XD) when we were in college...test on photosythesis tomorrow? Ok...Study bio~

And holidays normally take a toll on your...

Writing (everytime after the holiday my writing will change form Oo And become very difficult to read...it's bad enough when I write everyday...imagine what 60 days of NOT writing will do to it?)

Mathematical abilities (I've never been able to STUDY Maths before...practice seems like the only way to improve on it..and with the holidays..my mathematical skills should be all but gone by the time I start my course again...)

Academic functions of the brain (Ahh....the foundation of the developed world...education! With no active learning and plenty of time to decompose...the brain usually is unable to perform even basic understanding of simple matter...however..thankfully, with enough time and effort..the brain will usually recover fully :D)

Looks (well...not really...but sometimes if you don't go out much...well you tend to keep yourself less tidy than you would if say...you had to attend college everyday...conclusion...this doesn't apply to everyone :D)

Savings! (haha...this is definitely on MY list...I don't get any allowance during the holidays, theory being I shouldn't need to spend any money if all I need to do is stay at home XD So when I DO go out...where does my money come from? My savings of course! My parents DO give me money when I go out...but sometimes I really don't feel like spending anymore of their money than I have...)

Eyes (huh? Eyes? One word....Computer ...or TV depends which one you frequent more :P At times..BOTH :) Well...with so much extra time on your hands...what do you do with it? Most common answer would be to watch TV, those darned series that always elude you by broadcasting the show at the wrong time shall not be a problem anymore Quote from Astro's advertisment: Ngor Yao Ger Hai Si Kan! (What I have is TIME) ;) Or the computer...now you can literally glue your ass to the chair and surf through all those blogs you haven't been able to finish reading during your hectic college life :D)

Health (because of the above reason...you tend to move LESS...in college at least you'd have to walk in between classes...now...you can even sit your ass down for the whole day..and eat in front of the TV and computer! Pausing only to get your daily/weekly shower and visits to the loo XD)

All in all the holidays seems to me like a BAD deal....but have no fear! This can be remedied!

You can always practice writing maybe 30 minutes each day...although why you would bother I don't know :)

Maths? Do some simple calculations whenever you see numbers perhaps? XD Don't worry...this skill can usually be recovered with some practice :)

Ahh...Brain function...well you don't really NEED it..until you start your course again....so ....yeah :)

Looks? Well...this is easy :D And fun! Go hang out more with your friends! That should help you keep that sexy look ;)

Money? Well with the above solution....seems like it's going to be a tough one to deal with....you can always opt for cheaper alternatives when you hang with your friends :D Go to mamak stalls instead of Sunway Pyramid...you may have less to do...but what matters is the company right? :D Oh...with all that extra time...working a little don't hurt either ;)

Duh...use the computer less and watch TV only for shows you really want to watch (don't channel surf :P)

Get some exercise! You can always get a few friends and go play badminton, futsal or some other sports...this way, you don't spend as much (it's relatively inexpensive), you get to hand with your buddies AND you get some much needed exercise!

Hmm...it's funny how my post turned into an advice column...oh...what the hell :P I'm lazy now...don't feel like changing it...

This is a funny one! After much (much is an understatement) debates (another understatement); hold up!

*ehem*

After a million screaming + strangling + attempt murder + cold shoulder + dirty looks + threatening, Putrajaya Seafood Restaurant here we come!!! (Organized by Munshan, persuaded by Huwaiern & Yinfei)

Dress code : Semi-Formal (take note! 'semi'-formal)

A little bit of trouble for us non-KL-ians like my gang and me who casualty is our best. Take that back, no casualties, i meant dressing casually. So, we gathered up at Jen's apartment to change from streets to runway worthy. Jason was busy ironing pants, Jen doing Xj and his own hair, I tried Jason's (impossible to get him to spike)

4.30 we gathered in front of college. Wow! Wtfish? Everyone more formal than us -_-". Fine, we're not so formal to begin with. Anyway, here's us:

The plan was to travel from Subang to Putrajaya in 6 cars driven by 6 sober but drunk with excitement teens. Apparently, we have a driving formation!! O_O Ever so often when the formation breaks, we stop by the road side to 'reform'. Every girl was in spring-like dresses (Spring as in the season spring not Hooke's law's spring Qiqi -_-") and guys were having at least collars and no jeans. Until....Muresh came! Talk about over dressing? You'll get to c his pic later.

Anyhoo, i was in Josh's car (thx Josh for the ride) with Yenxi and Jason. Now, many din noe that Jason had a shaving 'accident' so everytime we joked, he'd laugh and 'ouch' (hands on his mouth) "Don't make me laugh, idiot)

Suddenly, (don't ask why, my road sense sucks) we happen to reach Putrajaya. It was not like any other city. Nice buildings, modern, peaceful, very unique and quirky. Once we stepped out of the car, everyone switched on to 'Photoshoot' mode.

The food was quite good actually, i give 8 on the scale of 1 - 10. I liked the TomYam soup tho. Jason liked the groundnuts so much that he wanted to ta pau some back to Miri.( don't scratch ur heads liao, nuts is not on the menu but its on the table as apetisers)

The group 'Yam Seng' (without us =(....) then we took a slow walk back to the car park. However b4 we said our goodbyes, we stopped by a small lake for a lil chat. Muresh gave a short speech, or rap or confession, whatever u call it. What's next? The world's loneliest group hug. Qihong + Josh + Muresh is it? That's when the girls gathered to show us guys what a group hug looks like.....at least until Muresh said he wanted to join in which made Munshan shrieked and ran away. LOL?

In case those of you who missed Janice's Oscar Award Acceptance speech, she was fantastic! Made me laugh til like got asthma. -_-"

After that, everyone split into their own cars and left. I'm not sure maybe some went to gather else where but i was tired and sticky liaw. Gotta get off the streets. Paandipriya drove me home, Thx a bunch~ Overall, great fun and food. Kudos to those who participated.

Hey guys!
The much awaited prom had finally came on a Sun night (17/6/07) at J W Marriote Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The theme for this year is “midnight rendezvous”. 20 pm3-ians attended the event and the remaining 9 have valid reasons not to attend. Overall, the prom was an awesome experience to treasure!!

I have no idea about the location of the hotel (only know its in kl) and have to print a map from the net to find my way there. Some of them reached there as early as err..(2 p.m?) to have their make up done in Dorsett-regency. Everyone dressed themselves to impress, making sure they’re looking their very best.

I arrived 10 minutes earlier then the stated time (7.00p.m). Seeing familiar faces all around the main lobby (though none are from pm3). Found a comfy place to sit and decided to wait awhile. I was lucky to bump into Huwai ern and Joshur (rushing) followed them into the elevator and went (up/down) to the reception counter outside the ball room. Joshur forgot to bring his invitation card but it’s a relieved that he brought his student ID. So they allow him to enter anyway..of courselar..(if not we pm3ians will be making riotes outside the ballroom) lolx..isn’t it? Haha…

At first, we have cocktail session, got our hands stamped and went into the ball room..We got table 24 &25 which was the most strategic place like Selat Melaka..(in the middle beside the dance floor and the stage)..hmm..the waiter for my table didn’t provide a good service..5 star wor…still got waiter like that wan ar…he was a little reluctant to serve us maybe because he doesn’t feel nice to serve ppl younger than him..haha..but as a professional, you should do what your job requires you to do rite?

After speeches by Mrs. Mary Ng and etc…the prom officially starts. The music started drumming, as the waiters & waitresses parade to their tables incharged. Cool huh…cheng cheng cheng cheng…the first dish arrived!! (argh hungry stomach grumbling d)..i forgot the names of the dishes…we have baby octopus, jelly fish, sushi, soup, fried rice,dessert, chicken,….those who remember pls list down the names yea…

While serving food, we were entertained by Taylor’s own music band….they can sing well man..oopss forgot to mention we have 2 MC’s both hot and sexy..Christian and Steph. The girls are crazy about him..aww..he’s so cute right ee laine? She even took a (or more) picture with him!! We are so so so extremely Jealous. Steph was gorgeous..she wore a purple dress…nice wan..did any guy have a pic of her??

We have games in between…those with paper behind the sit needs to find a partner of the opposite sex for the game..some even volunteered to join the fun.!! When the music sounds, the participants have to dance inside the newspaper..they have to make sure they are still in the paper when the music stops!! The paper have to be folded into half each time which makes the game more interesting and challenging..the strong masculine guys carried the girls on the back as it gets more difficult…certainly we all are having a fun time!!

We have lucky draws too…and the prom king, queen as well as best dressed male and female..they are posted with difficult questions and the audience are the judges for the night…everyone screamed to vote for the candidate they adored most..Some of the questions are like..what will you do and react if you accidentally burp while kissing your bf? Will you buy flowers for guys? Will you drive your bf around if he doesn’t have a car? If there’s a stain on a gurl’s shirt near the chest area…will you tell her and how?? Tough yea….need to pay some price to get the title..haha..

Hmm.what else?? Photos photos and none stop photos…haha and and the event ended with couples dancing on the dance floor….the clock is ticking real fast…without realizing….its time to leave…I left earlier because my parents have arrived ..as always I’m on glass shoes..haha….Cinderella has to go!! Take care guys!! Life is not a bed of roses, but you can plant your own bed of roses!! Cya around next time!!

I think those who are driving on that day will know how to get to the KFC in USJ 20 (correct me if i am wrong...). And since some might get lost. The best way it to meet in front of Taylors and then we'll drive to KFC and meet there again. From there we'll move to Puchong Toll house and meet after the toll house. And then drive to Putrajaya. Just in case anyone gets lost on the way, those who are not driving pls help to read sign boards or call Subang Jaya-ians who are NOT DRIVING. I'm sure they can guide you.

In Putrajaya look for Precinct 1 and then the botanical garden. Theres a huge carpark there. I'm sure there's a sign board that says where the restaurant and the carpark is.

To the drivers... Drive safely on that day. Dont end up in the lakes okay?

If we are there too early... we go sightseeing first okay?

Tai Thong faxed their menu over this evening and our dear organiser, Mun Shan told me to post it up here.

WHO CAN DRIVE THERE?
we need as many drivers as possible. please please please please drive if you can! to those who can and will drive there, please leave your name and the maximum number of people you can squeeze into your car (do include yourself) in the comment box. do not say,"maybe i can, i think i can but i don't know yet, can lar but i need to ask my mom first" or anything that sort. leave your name if you are 100% sure you will be driving there.
you don't have to worry about directions because MS has the map that will lead us there. just make sure you can read maps. or at least get a passenger who can.

Since some are not happy about the whole Putrajaya thing and I can't think of a better place to have the class party. One that is cheap, nice and can stand the huge amount of noise generated from us.

So...why don't you all suggest a place? Remember CHEAP! (below RM50... a range between 30 to 45 should be cheap enough right?)

If you place/suggestion is accepted by our very fussy classmates then we shall switch to that or if otherwise...then it's PUTRAJAYA.

So if you have a better place in mind~Feel free to voice it out in the comment box below. Last day to suggest is on the 9th June (Sat). Party will be on the 15th of June. 16 for last minute prom-shopping and 17th is PROM!

HEY PM3-ians...happy y'all!...Actually not so happy cos Chem p4 so hard :(

Just wanna say.....PAPER 4 CHEMISTRY SUCKS!!! Those who agree say "I". "IIIIIIIII"...
(lame) Nvm, anyway while doing the paper i was just thinking to my self..."wahlao...this wan so different from past year....do past year also no use....hehe...luckily got George...(1 hour later) aiyo...george also no use..." Ahaha....Neways those who went to Georgey's tuition should expect this lar....and he did spot some of the topics coming out (too bad it was the wrong questions :p).

Now for paper 5 predictions..IMHO miss chan's way of preparing us for paper 5 basically means we're dead. i think. 'Cept maybe for the for those who die already still can come back from the dead...such as C***s Gen***s aka *i H**g and J*n**e and some others whom i will not mention....My apologies for not getting straight to the point...Chances are based on Georgey Boy's "accurate" dart throwing at the chemistry practical manual, experiments such as Enthalpy of neutralisation and Solubility Product are the main attractions (based on tuition so far e.s.t. 01/06/07). Basically the questions would have some graphs and calculations and some stupid questions on how to improve the bloody experiments would prob be asked. Others just the usual i guess.

Basically, me thinks those who DO go Georgey 50"not-so-worth-it" bucks classes shud go salvage all ur old notes regarding the discussed above. For those who DON'T, just ask ur nice fellow PM3-ians who do to lend yo some notes (saying words such as "NICE" and "KIND" usually works on them...joking)....no gaurantee they useful tho...Ppl that can be asked includes Muresh and me, Grace ( i passing notes to her). Muresh betta....he more friendly (>@<)\...and smarter too. There are those who might have gone to Saturday's class (02/06/07) (also can ask...i think) . So for the ramaining papers I wish y'all "all the best and God bless!"

Just popping by to pass this around...All PM3-ians who want an extra dose of maths with Ms Indra before Paper 3...there's a class going on this Tuesday ( 5/6/2007)..at 8-10 am...at C24...!

It' s actually a class for PM11...but Ms Indra was kind enough to invite any one of us interested..She will basically go through the past yr qs again..So..come if you want to clarify any doubts..but if you think your P3 is like white nuts..then obviously don't come and waste time..because if you're a Maths pro., the class can be quite slow-moving and boring. Otherwise, I think it will be quite helpful..

The blog seems to be really picking up momentum :) Frankly the level of it's activity as of now has surpassed what I expected by a mile :D That's because it IS the exam season :) (perhaps it's picking up momentum BECAUSE it is the exam season..good place to destress maybe? XD) I hope this trend continues and I hope more people will post (we don't have many active Authors...but plenty of great commenters and chatters XD)

Seems a lot of 'heat' was generated due to friction between our dear PM3-ians :) This is mainly over the class party...

Frankly...I'm sure the organiser Mun Shan will LOVE everyone to attend :) But there WILL of course be people who are not happy with certain conditions that come with the class party(the pricing for instance..) Bear in mind Mun Shan is doing this out of good will ALONE...she doesn't get paid for doing it! It's good enough she's willing to spend her time to arrange everything for us...It would be really nice if you could come because she's put in SOO much effort...But..if you really can't, well then it's OK...We don't want to force you to go.....and please stop complaining the price is TOO expensive...I really think it's very cheap considering how few of us are going and the fact that we're eating in Putra Jaya... :) It's a very nice place yo~ I'm pretty sure not everyone has been there before...But ultimately it IS up to you..if you don't want to go...fine :) Just say it nicely and don't make it sound like you CAN'T go because it's too darned expensive...how would you feel if you've put so much effort into something and the only thing you hear are complaints? Once again...THANK YOU Mun Shan :) You're great!!! :D

Next up is Graduation Ball...frankly our class is really in a bit of a fix...we only have 29 people and not everyone can make it...so that's more than 2 tables but less than 3...I'm lucky enough to have been included in one of the table...but some others who want to go....but are now put off because of the idea of sitting with non-PM3ians...I hope these unfortunate PM3ians will come together and get something like half a table..then it wouldn't be that bad...it's pretty sad if only 3 PM3ians sit in a table with 7 people that they don't know...Graduation Ball for A-Levels is once in a lifetime :) Please do come if you can :D I would really love to see everyone go :)

Well that's about it :) I'm sorry if what I said offended anyone..but I really felt that I needed to say that :)

Week 2~

It's week 2 of our A2 Exams :) I hope by now everyone is warmed up (or cooled down since we had a 1 week break) sufficiently to OWN week 2 :) We'll be having Biology Paper 5, Chemistry Paper 4 and Mathematics Paper 4 this week....not too heavy but no where near a breeze either...so kick into study gear everyone!! It IS our final exams...this is what you have been studying the last year for! (the other half a year was for AS XD)

dearest pm3 mates! now that we have a class blog, there should be absolutely no reason for us not to keep in touch no matter which part of the world we're at, no?
anyway..congratulations to AC Milan!
sorry janice, jae ric and priya. but what the heck, it's not like liverpool will be walking alone right? they have all their loyal supporters out there, so it's okay. it's time to let another club win it .

now, graduation ball. every pm3-ian should go for it! it's going to be our last outing as classmates (yes i know some of you have heard me say this many many times) since we're not organising a class trip, which makes me feel that our class can be so sad sometimes. come to think of it, how many lunches have we ever had as a class? 2? 1? 0? we can't have 3 tables of pm3-ians because there are only 29 of us and just so some of you know, we have classmates who'll be flying off to india and usa. and our beloved class rep thinks that the whole event is a big waste of money. he said that all we'll do is just sit and talk and laugh during our ball and he can just pick up his phone and call us anytime to chat which is so much cheaper.
so class rep, i'll remember what you said. i'm already waiting for your call. the rest of you should wait for his call too. and make sure you people receive it.
back to the oh-so-important-17thJune-jwmarriott-event, would everyone PLEASE go? right now, we have 2 tables booked. and mun shan said that hwee wen wants to go but the 2 tables are already full and she'll need to find another 9 more people to fill up a table or else she'll be sitting with non-pm3 people. surely none of you would want that to happen right? afterall, you're such nice and wonderful and thoughtful people ;)

GO TO GRADUATION BALL! i'm 100% sure it'll be a night to remember =)

We'll need a team of moderators to ensure this blog runs smoothly :) Anyone wants to volunteer? Probably around 3 people... We'll have a vote to see you gets this 'prestigious' post ;)

Pros:
- Moderators have absolute power over everything in the blog (ranging from what posts should be deleted to how the time stamp should look like :P)

- Moderators can make people call them moderators :D

- Non-moderators are only allowed to post. Please do NOT mess with anything else. Thank you. You are free to suggest changes in a post :)

- I can't think of any other pros of being a moderator for this blog...

Cons:
- Moderators will be responsible for their actions as well as the actions of all members of this blog :)

- Moderators will need to spend SOME time to go through all changes and posts

- Moderators despite having to do their job do NOT get paid (if you DO want to get paid perhaps you can set up the AdSense program by Google here and earn some money~)

- Moderators have to be able to come online pretty frequent to do their job
